Holidays '09

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. First pictures are the Stevenson family Christmas party, then Christmas Eve and morning here at our house, then on to the Summers.

Christmas

I guess I should post some pics from Christmas. We had the Stevenson Christmas party the Sunday before and it was a real hoot. Luke got to stay up the whole time and he really pulled through on the performance end of things. He played a number on the piano, which was hilarious, a finger point and lots of clapping (for himself) and he danced like only my son can do...when the musics playing there's just no sitting still. My brother-in-law actually did it as a joke, just teasing me that if the music is playing I can't NOT dance. Well he was right, but I had no idea that it would be the same for Luke too. It was fantastic. Everyone else just stood there watching the two of us...and I didn't realize until I saw the video that I dance like, uh, a two year old! Oh the reality! I always thought I was so much better than I really am. It was frightening, there goes my inhibition eh?

Check out his disco fingers. I didn't even teach him that.

Everyone watching Luke dance...

Danny's parents came down Christmas Eve and stayed the night. Of course Luke was way more excited that G&G were coming than opening presents the next day, still too young to really get it. Christmas morning we had toys from Santa just sitting out and the first thing he saw were the dump truck and tractor that he had been playing with at Wal-mart every time we would go. He didn't see ANYTHING else for at least 30 minutes. He just played with the dump truck and tractor, which he said over and over like 5 times when he first saw them in the morning, it was pretty funny.

We spent the rest of Christmas day at Danny's parents house where Luke got another truck and trailer that he absolutely loves. It's a dodge ram like Grandpa's truck.
